Join Team Education at Actors Theatre as an Education Intern/Teaching Artist and contribute to creating nearly 30,000 creative learning experiences for young people annually. Serve as an artistic/education ambassador throughout our region’s school systems and youth service organizations, as well as community, treatment, and placement centers. Conduct classroom workshops and lead playwriting residencies. Develop lesson plans, research and write study guides, and collaborate interdepartmentally at Actors Theatre, while contributing to the Humana Festival College Days Weekend and the New Voices Young Playwrights Festival. Applicants with teaching experience in other arts related fields are encouraged to apply. Formal classroom teaching experience not required, but previous experience working with young people and a reliable car are musts.
