Mission Statement:
The mission of Salina Performing Arts Academy is to enrich the cultural life of the community, to preserve and expand the American musical as an art form, to educate new audiences and to nurture aspiring artists. SPAA exists to support and expand musicians, actors, singers, dancers, technical artists and most important, students of promise, as well as those whom are already established by bringing together both the theatre’s resources and the community. By using the standard of artistic excellence, for which Salina Community Theatre is known, SPAA programs gives young emergent talent the opportunity to work alongside professionals in a truly collaborative atmosphere.

Intern responsibilities:
Interns will work with local youth performers to put up two full length musicals. Interns will get the opportunity to design, direct, choreograph, stage manage, etc. Interns will be supplemented by professional theatre staff
